Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • understand the meaning of the broad risk management definition given by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission
  • make adequate conceptual models for risk management systems (in form of management activity diagrams) and to apply the holistic modeling approach in different management domains
  • investigate the scientific ERM literature by performing an in-depth literature review study
  • derive analytical and numerical simulation solutions in business performance management within the software package “R/Rstudio”
  • do group working
