- analyze the main messages of scientific papers and their underlying principles
- critically assess different theories on Organization Theory
- develop own points of view of and distinguish the different “school of thoughts” in organization theory
- explain why organizations are so similar/diverse
Students will read the scholarly papers before each session, write thought-papers to selected papers and share their thoughts with colleagues in in-class discussions.
Individual reading and discussion of selected scientific papers discussion, exercises and group assignments during class
- Attendance is mandatory. Only In exceptional cases (exam, health issues, etc.) attendance can be excused max. two sessions.
