After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently solve and present Financial Management cases, like e.g. to analyze and to apply the Black-Litterman portfolio optimization approach in comparison to the traditional mean-variance approach of Markowitz; or to calculate and assess factor premiums; or to calculate and analyze potential tax shield effects (personal taxes, corporate taxes) on the optimal capital structure.
Furthermore, students will be able to portion their case problems into work packages and to assign them to individual group colleagues.

Discussion of solution approaches presented by students with suggestions for improvements and adaptations;
