The course "Fundamentals of Organization" will focus on topics regarding the structure and formation of organizational entities. Starting with an overview in organization theory, the themes will encompass topics like coordination and motivation, process management, organizational culture and organizational change. The exact course structure will be presented in the preliminary session.
Methods and learning outcomes:
During this course, the students will apply the various theoretical concepts in practical examples through case study analysis. This method will ultimately allow students to develop their theory-driven problem-solving abilities, will allow them to work and communicate better in a team, develop their abstract thinking and give them a good understanding on why different structures in today's world are organized the way they are.
