Students will be enabled to design basic adaptive control systems. They learn how to design model predictive controllers. MPC algorithms such as quadratic programming for constrained MPC is explained. The stability of MPC control systems with stable and unstable plant is discussed. Various turnkey MATLAB/Simulink examples help students to dwelve into the matter.
