After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently acquire advanced topics of control, to apply this knowledge in simulations or experiments, and to present the results of the work in a short conclusion.
Literature research, hard- and/or software implementation, analytical calculations, modeling, parameter identification, controler design, simulation, optimization.
The project work can be organized and performed quite individually; the formal requirements and the contents of the course can be defined together with the course management.
The performance will be evaluated based on the communication with the supervisor, on the quality of the implementation and of the final documentation.
Not necessary
It is advantegous to have successfully completed some or all of the above mentioned supplementary courses. This will ensure a high quality level of the project work.
