Aim of course

Basic knowledge in modelling and simulation of dynamic continuous processes, mainly multibody systems and mechatronics. Basic knowledge for a methodical modelling and simulation. Discussion of structures and algorithms for continuous simulation. Discussion of selected application examples.

Subject of course

Approaches to modelling and simulation, numeric algorithms, simulation software. Models and modeling of technical systems for continuous simulation, fundamentals of numerical mathematics, introduction to continuous simulation languages, application of simulation systems like ACSL, MATLAB/Simulink, DYMOLA for simulation studies.
