Aim of course

The students will be enabled to design adaptive control systems (model reference adaptive control, model based adaptive control). The control algoritms covered in this course are the Minimum Variance Controller, Model Following Controller, Dynamic Matrix Controller and Generalized Predictive Controller.

Subject of course

Parameter estimation (RLS and RELS methods) in open and closed loop (MVC, IMC, MFC, DMC und GPC), introduction to model rederence adaptive control.
