Properties

  • Semester hours: 1.0
  • Credits: 1.0
  • Type: UE Exercise

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

  • ... successfully apply and implement the lecture contents (representing, modeling and analyzing time-discrete system dynamics, as well as creating digital controllers in transfer function and state space representation) using suitable tools (algorithms, MATLAB).

Subject of course

This exercise course consists of two parts. In the first part the theoretical aspects taught in the course "Digital Control" are deepened in blackboard exercises. In the second part, the design methods for digital controllers are applied in computer simulations and on a laboratory-size experiment.

Teaching methods

The exercise is designed interactively - the elaboration and solution of the exercise problems (closely aligned with the lecture) are presented and worked out together. Special emphasis is placed on the development of an understanding of the problem, the approach to a solution, as well as the possibilities and limits of the tools used.
