Aim of course

Die erste Vorlesung findet am Dienstag, 2. Oktober um 16:00 im Seminarraum BA 05 statt.

The student will be enabled to experimentally model a chemical engineering process and to analyse and design linear and simple nonlinear SISO control systems using the root locus concept, the state space approach, feedforward control and cascade control.

Subject of course

The root locus method, feedforward control, cascade control, inferential control, Smith-predictor-control analysis and design of chemical engineering single-input/single-output systems in state space, experimental modeling of chemical engineering processes (identification).

Additional information

Students taking this course should have completed a course in fundamentals of feedback control.
