Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • comprehend the specific features of bological flows and
  • acoustinc their sensing as well as
  • the necessary mathematical tools in their essence and
  • to apply those in the course of modelling tasks in biomedical applications.

Subject of course

Selected topics of fluid and structural dynamics and acoustics and their impact on biological phenomena and medical applications. The pulmonary and systemic circulation provide the basis of the analysis.
