ATTENTION! REPLACES UNTIL SS 2017 VO 322.064 - SAME TEACHING CONTENT!
Understanding of fundamental phenomena of structure mechanics in tissue engineering and coupling between two-phase flows and acoustics (as "acoustic streaming"), in particular of bubble dynamics and related physical phenomena.
The course is tought by Dr. Nicholas Ovenden, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, University College London.
Selected topics of fluid and structural dynamics and acoustics and their impact on biological phenomena and medical applications. The pulmonary and systemic circulation provide the basis of the analysis.
Homework (answering questions regarding theory, working out typical case studies).
Application is currently locked manually.
Unterlagen werden im Verlauf der VO ausgeteilt bzw. online gestellt zum Download.
Basic knowledge of continuum and/or fluid mechanics, mathematical skills typical for Master and PhD students.
