NOTE: UE lectures will start on Monday October 8th
Tests Administration:
- midterm exam: covers the first part of the course program;
- final exam: covers the second part of the course program;
- ''replacement exam'' (nachtest): covers the entire course program and is held after the final exam.
Exam duration: 1h30min.
To receive a grade the student must:
- attend at least 11 UE lectures. If a student did not complete the assigned homework BUT is in the class, he/she is considered an attendee.
- complete 50% (minimum) of all the exercises assigned in the homeworks (completed exercises must be confirmed on TUWel).
- Homeworks may be checked by the tutors every lecture. If a student has not completed an exercise which is marked in TUWel, the entire homework will be considered as unresolved.
- take at least two exams (this accounts for all unforeseen occurrences such as, illnesses, accidents, family emergencies, etc.). If all three exams are taken, the lowest score will be eliminated from final grade calculation.
Structure of each exam:
All exams are tests in written form. Each test has two or more problems. Each problem may have two or more questions. A score is assigned to each question so that the maximum score that can be achieved for a perfect test is 100. Maximum score of the exam is 200.

One exam scoring less than 25 will be considered “not taken”.
