Units of 4 hours each on the following topics: (i) viscosimetry, (ii) pipe flow, (iii) classical optical measurement methods, free convection; shallow water channel, (iv) icing of a wing profile in the subsonic wind tunnel (hot wire anemometry, 6-component force balance), (v) Particle Image Velocimetry or Laser Doppler Anemometry, (vi) diffusion and fingering in a Hele-Shaw cell.
At the begin of each unit the knowledge of the lecture notes isexamined . During the lab, reports are written which are collected at the end of each unit. The marks are based on the knowledge of the lab contents, on active participation and on the reports.
