Subject of course

Governing equations in integral and differential form. Hydrostatics. Incompressible, inviscid flows. Compressible, inviscid flows. Normal shocks. Viscous shear stresses. Newtonian fluids. Navier-Stokes equations. Laminar pipeflow. Dimensional analysis, mechanical similarity. Reynolds averaging, Reynolds-equations. Turbulent pipeflow.
