Aim of course

The participants should be in the position to decide about and plan the efficient application of industrial robots 

Subject of course

In this lecture the students get an introduction into the main topics of robotics mainly industrial robots including peripheral devices for robot systems as well as robotised production cells. Topics: The industrial robot as a component of production automation, main parts ( grippers, gripping devices, drives, control devices, internal and external sensors), programming, application examples, development trends ( mobile, intelligent robots; humanoid robots, cloud robots,.........).
