After successful completion of the course, students are able to model and simulate bionic systems. The focus is on the comparison and interaction of the human physiological system with mechatronic systems. Students will be able to describe the interaction of the musculoskeletal system with controlled actuator systems. To deal with the basics of signal processing, control engineering. Create submodels which are linked to an overall simulation model of the bionic system.
Frontal lecture, two project tasks in group work including 15 min presentation.
Project presentations and a test.
Not necessary
Basic knowledge of mechanics and mathematics are required. Basic knowledge of signal -, control - and electrical engineering advantageous.
