Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to analyze data from standard mechanical tests and take into account the hierarchical architecture of biological tissues when describing and evaluating the mechanical properties of soft and hard tissues.

Subject of course

Project in the area of characterization of biological tissues from computer simulations.

Teaching methods

Conduction of virtual biomechanical experiments to generate output data. Analysis of data and summary of results in a laboratory report.
