Aim of course

Knowledge of the morphological and biomechanical properties of the passive tissues of the muskuloskeletal system. Understanding of the relationships between structure and function in the light of evolution, growth and remodeling.

Subject of course

Description of the morphology, physiology and mechanical properties of bone, ligaments and tendons as well as cartilage. Continuum mechanics of hard, soft and fluid-saturated biological tissues.
