This course is in at least 1 assigned curriculum part of the STEOP.

2020S, UE, 2.0h, 2.0EC, to be held in blocked form

Properties

  • Semester hours: 2.0
  • Credits: 2.0
  • Type: UE Exercise

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • apply special theoretical methods for the analysis of energy consumption, carbon dioxide emissions and local exhaust emissions from vehicle drives in real use.
  • give information about the accuracy of the different methods.

Subject of course

Calculation exercise for energy consumption and exhaust emissions from vehicle drives. Accompanying the lecture "Experimental and Calculation Methods for Emissions"

Teaching methods

As part of the calculation exercise, various calculation models using Microsoft Excel are introduced and discussed. Subsequently, the participants choose subject areas individually or in groups, for which you design your own calculation model. Finally, a presentation with parameter variations is carried out together with all participants.
