After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
Measurement and calculation methods for energy consumption and exhaust emissions of internal combustion engines. Chassis dynamometer and engine test beds. Measurement devices and in-situ exhaust sensors. Real-world measurement devices for all transport modes.
In the framework of the lecture, environmental basics are introduced. The in-depth knowledge is based on the results of our own international research projects. The experimental and computational methods are discussed using practical examples.
Proof of performance is provided as part of an oral, English-language video chat examination (Skype or Jitsi) in teams of maximum four. Please send an email to schedule an appointment.
