Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to research subject-specific topics, to write the results as a scientific paper and to give a lecture according to a conference contribution.

  • Literature research to a subject area in the field of automotive technology
  • Advancement of knowledge in the special subject
  • Elaboration of the investigated subject with support of an assistant
  • Writing a paper corresponding the proceedings of a scientific conference
  • Presentation of the results corresponding to a lecture on a scientific conference

Teaching methods

Assignment of a topic in the field of automotive design and/or internal combustion engines, Assignment of a supervising assistant, issue of guidelines for the seminar paper and the final presentation. Regular exchange on progress and on the occurrence of problems with the supervising assistant.
