After successful completion of the course, students are able to research subject-specific topics, to write the results as a scientific paper and to give a lecture according to a conference contribution.

• Literature research on a topic of automotive technology
• Advance of knowledge in the subject area - development of the task with accompanying support
• Compose a written seminar work according to a Conference contribution
• Final presentation according to a presentation at a scientific meeting

Assignment of a topic in the field of automotive design and/or internal combustion engines, Assignment of a supervising assistant, issue of guidelines for the seminar paper and the final presentation. Regular exchange on progress and on the occurrence of problems with the supervising assistant.

Creation of the written seminar paper as well as a presentation including a lecture.

Requirements: Students need to be proficient in the subject "Automotive Engineering" (lecture no. 315.282) in order to be admitted to the course.
