After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply suitable theoretical and experimental methods for their scientific work on energy consumption, noise emissions, carbon dioxide emissions and local exhaust emissions from vehicle drives. The focus is also on the accuracy of the different methods.
Measurement and calculation methods for energy consumption, noise emissions and exhaust emissions from vehicle drives. Calculation methods for global and local applications. The in-depth knowledge is based on the results of our own international research projects. The experimental and computational methods are discussed using practical examples.
Teaching the basics for creating independent scientific papers. Deepening of the field of scientific work (thesis or dissertation). Use of calculation methods. Use of suitable computer systems. Special measurement and analysis technology. Time and cost considerations. Lecture and presentation technology
