After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and apply the basics of coordinate metrology and the mechanical (tactile) and computed tomography (CT) methods in metrology. Furthermore, the students are able to carry out an independent scan on a computer tomograph and evaluate and interpret the results using software.

Practical application and execution of independent scans on two different existing computer tomographs, as well as using the evaluation software.
