Regulation for the winter semester 2021:
Ladies and gentlemen,
first of all, I would like to welcome you to the TU Wien. The course is basically held in classroom teaching. However, because of the current situation regarding COVID-19 the lecture hall capacities are limited (seats must be kept vacant), the classroom course is held in the lecture hall Freihaus FH1 in a 14-day rhythm. For this purpose, 2 groups (cohorts) are formed:
Cohort A: For all students whose name begins with an initial letter between A and M. Lecture takes place in the odd weeks, starting with the date 07.10.2021.
Cohort B: For all students whose name begins with an initial letter between N and Z. Lecture takes place in the even weeks, starting with the date 14.10.2021.
In addition, you can follow the livestram via the TUWEL course (applies to the dates you are not present in the lecture hall, or if you belong to a risk group, live in the household with members of a risk group, etc.). Please register for the TUWEL course in the TISS and register for one of the two groups (cohort A or B), corresponding to the initial letter of your name, and then visit the lecture hall for the dates planned for your group (cohort).
If you follow the LVA via livestream and have questions, please use the forum "Questions about the lecture material" created in the TUWEL course. I will then take up questions in the following lecture or answer them directly in the forum.
Please register in the TISS for the course so that you can access the TUWEL course and thereby gain access to further information or documents.
I wish you every success for the former students (despite the adverse circumstances), cordial greetings Prof. Dr. Mertz
Written exam at the end of semester, in principle 3-4 exam dates are offered each semester
Attention: Currently the exams are planned again in presence.
If the circumstances force changes here too, an agreement will be made in due time - therefore, please also note here TU transmissions, mail communications or corresponding information in TUWEL.
If you have any questions regarding the examination, please contact directly by e-mail to Prof. Dr. Mertz: mertz@ift.at
