Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to perform measurement process on various measuring instruments in production metrology and sensor technology, analyze and evaluate measurement data.

Subject of course

Getting to know a wide variety of optical measuring systems for surface measurements and quality control in production (confocal microscope, focus variation technology,...), roughness measuring systems, and computer tomography

Teaching methods

Active participation and collaboration in laboratory work and performance of measurements on selected devices of production measurement technology and sensor technology in the precision measurement laboratory.
