After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• carry out systematic literature search and analysis relevant for their dissertation subject in scientific databases
• independently process, present and document their dissertation subject

The course takes place once in the winter semester and once in the summer semester and serves to support ongoing dissertations. Please register for both courses.

Development of competences required  for processing scientific problems.

Students work independently on their dissertation:

• structure of the work
• problem formulation
• research methods
• registration of the dissertation
• current state of research and development
• own theoretical and practical results
• continuous workshops and institute conferences

Presentation and discussion of dissertation subjects, interim presentations performed by students, discussion of solution approaches presented by students.

The final assessment takes place with the submission of the dissertation by the students.
