Aim of course

The course is special designed for students which are interested in robotics or automation and want to improve/refresh own technical english. The international / european guest-students are welcome.

Subject of course

Fundamentals of robotics: history, definitions, and population. Terminology, standardization, and norms. Kinematics and dynamics of robots. Design of robots. Workplace design. Operating modes of robots: pose-to-pose, continuous path. End-effectors. Control algorithms and strategies. Artifical intelligence in robotics. Human interaction with robots. Off-line programming and robot teachning. Integration and installation of robots in production system. Application of industrial robots. Mobile robots. Service robots. Sensors. Machine vision systems. Modern research projects and technical development in robotics.
