Aim of course

Ability for treating basic problems of finite elasticity

Subject of course

Mathematical introduction: tensor algebra and tensor analysis in general nonlinear coordinates; general theory: geometrical relations, strain, stress and equations of motion; constitutive equations: discussion of special problems
