The objective of the lecture is to learn how to structure your scientific work, to develop the first draft of your manuscript, and how to submit and deal with the review/revision process. You will learn about some principles, common rules and small examples for preparing manuscripts containing scientific information in a smooth and coherent form. An important point is how to prepare your figures and tables and to avoid the most common fallacy.
This short lecture provides some guidance and help in writing a paper about your research. We will address the important questions of "What do I want to publish" and "How do I publish". In addition to the problem of "How to structure the manuscript" and "How to prepare the first draft" we will also discuss the submission and revision process. Most of the content actually is equally relevant to writing your thesis or a research proposal.
