Aim of course

Using real-world problems,methods of fracture mechanical testing are investigated. This includes specimen preparation, measurement and interpretation of the obtained results.

Subject of course

Fracture Mechanicals Testing Methods: K_Ic-Test, Essential Work of Fracture (EWF), Testing of Adhesives, Indentation Fracture Mechanics, Quantitative Fracture Surface Analysis Possibilities and Limits of the different methods
