After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • define the characteristic properties of high-performance plastics such as fluoroplastics (PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE, PVDF, ECTFE, PCTFE), polyaryl ether ketones (PAEK), polyimides (PI), liquid crystalline plastics (LCP) etc.
  • explain how electrically conductive polymers are constructed
  • characterize properties of UV light-curable special polymers
  • name manufacturing processes and characteristic properties of elastomers

Subject of course
