Choice of an example of material application in mechanical engineering, elaboration of requirements, comparison with materials performance, selction of shaping methods, cheking of specific characterisation methods.

The topic will be sorted out with the student, who shall deal with it by studies of literature and experiments.
The results will be presented in a lecture and the work documented by a report.
