Better knowledge of advanced machine elements, not covered by the basic machine elements lecture. Additionally latest research topics in the field of machine elements are presented.

Topics (preliminary): Standards for calculation of machine elements, clutches, brakes, worm gears and - gearboxes, acoustics, cost calculation, connections with screws, freewheels, bevel gears and - gearboxes, planetary gears, damages of machines and gearboxes as focus,
