Aim of course

The main goal of this lecture course is to teach the students about the following:

  • the main information about helicopter and its design;
  • the fundamental approaches in the field of helicopter units design (with emphasis on the transmission system of helicopter)
  • the history and features of Russian helicopter design
  • the influence of the helicopter design on the helicopter transmission system design and vice versa.
