After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• prepare a research question.
• identify and analyze the current state of research.
• cite foreign sources consistently.
• critically analyze and question the results.
• write a scientific paper.
• present and defend the research results of a jury.

The students are enabled to work independently on scientific research questions.

In the course the students receive the necessary knowledge to carry out and treat a diploma thesis or dissertation.

• Presentation of the procedure for the preparation of scientific papers.
• Independent elaboration of the scientific question.
• Discussion of the results.

The proof of achievement is based on the written work and its defense against a jury.

Written exam with final oral defense.

The necessary previous knowledge is based on the scientific question.
