Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to selected suitable conveying systems by classifying the material, the conveying process and the environmental circumstances. The students are able to optimize the runtime and the capacity performance of simple conveying processes. The students understand the design- and calculation criteria of the most important conveying systems and their components. The students are able to evaluate the different conveying systems in respect to efficiency, safety and energy consumption.
