After successful completion of the course, students are able to familiarize themselves with special topics in material handling and conveyor technology, summarize the essential findings in a compact form and present them to an audience.

Engagement with special items of this subject under taking into considerration specific interest of the students. Some examples of themes: handling equipment for wood-processing, stage equipment, suspension railways and furniculars, elevators. One part of the seminar is an excursion to plants and sites to see working equipment in reality.
