Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able toknow and dimension the basic components of conveyor technology. Furthermore, they will be able to determine the motors for conveyor systems.

Subject of course

Loadlifting applications and adapters, hoisting-, travelling-, luffing and slewing devices, devices with ropes and rope reeving components, chains etc., electric, hydrodynamic and hydrostatic driving units.

Discussion of the different conveyors, calculation of practice examples.
