After successful completion of the course, students are able to create 3D CAD models of components as well as assemblies with the help of a CAD system and to derive manufacturing and standard-compliant parts and assembly drawings.
Recording of dimensions of parts, production of freehand and CAD drawings of these parts, fundamental principles of design with 3D CAD, development of a project consisting of several individual parts (compilation of a module with CAD, manipulation and organisation of individual part drawings and the assembly drawing with a CAD program, compilation of parts list)
Creating freehand sketches, introduction to using the 3D CAD software CATIA, creating 3D CAD models, creating an assembly, creating draft derivations.
The groups are transferred from the WS to the SS, i.e. the groups will be created by us by the end of February and the participants from the winter semester will be uploaded by us.
A separate registration is possible from the beginning of the semester and is only required for students who have already completed the VU Technical Drawing / CAD 307.426 (previously 307.052) in the winter semester or in special cases for newcomers!
