Students receive a comprehensive overview of central and main IT systems from the technical perspective of an enterprise on the basis of its core processes. They obtain a necessary understanding on operational information systems, what they are and which methods and tools are utilized to build those IT systems. Students know the tasks and functions, which those systems fulfill during the process and become acquainted with methods for project and change management in the context of introductory projects for operational information systems. Thus they are put into the position to considerably participate and contribute within appropriate projects.
