Aim of course

Understanding of the technical possibilities and overview of the available applications of FES; Ability to contribute to the design of FES-systems and to assess both technical feasibility and the effects on the total human organism.

Subject of course

Medical and technological basics of functional electrical stimulation; Restoration of sensory,  vegetative and motor functions by means of FES and applications; Modelling of muscle force genneration by FES and movement analysis- /optimization.
