Aim of course

Acquisition of findings concerning implementation in conformance with standards and production technology of technical drawings for general machine components. Processing of fundamental principles of the most important production processes for technical components and their influence on the technical drawing. Study of the essential dimensioning criteria and regulation for tolerance and surface specifications. National (ON) and international standardisation (EN, ISO) will be taken into account. In addition, findings concerning special types of representation in steel construction as well as simplified types of representation such as for pipework, accessory parts and fluid technology symbols will be examined.

Technical drawing as a means of communication Assigned normal projections (horizontal, upright, side projection, section representation) 2D-CAD Digital storage of three- dimensional structures (3D-CAD) Overview of production processes and their influence on the design Non-cutting design Machining design Joining technologies (welding, screwing, etc.) Surface treatment The technical drawing and its standardisation Line representation, section representation, hatching Dimensioning, tolerances, fits Simplified representation of threads, gear teeth Representation on joins (welding, screwing), various machine parts, pipework, etc. Symbolic representation of fluid technology components Structural steel drawings Representation of developments
