The goal of this course is to learn more about analogue and digital electronics. Starting with basics in semiconductor technology the operation of the most important devices like diodes, transistors, thyristors, triacs, diacs, operational amplifiers, photodiodes and phototransistors will be explained using analytical descriptions, sets of characteristic curves, equivalent networks and complete basic circuit arrangements. In addition, the design, operation and programming of highly integrated linear and digital devices (e.g. PAC, FPGA, µC, DSP and SPS) will be illustrated including different bus types and methods to avoid electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Basics in semiconductor technology and microelectronic devices, analogue and digital circuit arrangements, design and calculation of special circuits, power amplifiers, stabilization circuits for voltage and current, programming of highly integrated devices.
