Aim of course

This lecture should guide the students during the systematic investigation of a practical project from the field of fluid-flow machinery. The practical problem solution should be done with the support of the lecturer. The students should get some knowledge about modern computerized methods for design and analysis of fluid-flow machinery.

Subject of course

The main topic of this lecture is the preliminary design of a fluid-flow machine or the detailed analysis of a selected component. A problem definition as well as all the necessary literature and computer programs will be supplied to the students. Special attention will be given to the computerized methods for design and analysis.
