After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply the basic knowledge of hydraulic fluids and their use in oil hydraulic systems. Furthermore, they are in the position to understand and create detailed hydraulic diagrams by means of graphical symbols. This requires the expert knowledge of the available components, which is provided in the lecture. Project planning, commissioning and maintenance of hydraulic systems complete the lecture material.

In addition to frontal teaching, interactive case studies are calculated with the students. Furthermore, the wiring diagram design and simulation program (FluidSim 5) for hydraulics and electrical engineering is used.
