Types of thermal power plants Numerical methods for process simulation Modelling Performing of the simulation and documentation of the results Interpretation of the results
The aim of the course is to provide students a better understanding of the theoretical fundamentals of thermal energy plants and to use modern tools for numerical simulation of these plants. Two main numerical simulation programs such as IPSEpro and KED will be presented and applied. The process simulation with the two programs enables the investigation of processes as realistic as possible for different operating conditions.
The proof of performance of the LVA is provided by the presence and preparation of a protocol.
Lecture notes for this course are available on TUWEL for the registered students.
