Knowledge of different dust precipitations, knowledge of the most widely desulfurisation plants and denitrification installations. Knowledge of special flue gas purification plants for non conventional fuels such as communal waste and sewage slurry. Knowledge of the influence of the greenhouse gases on the global climate and knowledge of those gases which are thought to be responsible for the formation of the ozone hole. Knowledge of the main principles of measuring flue gas components.
The requirements for flue gas purification of fossile fueled steam boilers, hot water boilers and industrial firing become more and more severe. Therefore, knowledge of the methods and problems of flue gas dust precipitation, desulfurisation and denitrofication is important. Special problems arise with the use of non conventional fuels such as communal waste, sewage slurry and industrial waste. The possible influence of the so called greenhouse gases on the global climate and the influence of the ozone depleting gases on the stratosphere ozone layer is discussed. Measuring principles for fluegas components are presented.
The lecture is given in German language.
