After successful completion of the course, students are able to:
In this course, students learn how to complete a complete project together with a team. The project covers all the necessary steps for the manufacture of a remote-controlled robot, from initial planning, through material orders to the production of the final product.
In the concept-finding phase, students have to research which types of robots have already been built and which concept they think is promising.Subsequently, the necessary components must be designed and purchased. This requires a combination of mechanical engineering, materials science and electrical engineering. After the competition with the other teams, the designed robot should be critically evaluated in order to describe the respective advantages and disadvantages of the chosen design.
Please register for the course in TISS.After registering for the LVA, the group registration will be activated in TUWEL.Register with your teammates for the same group. Please note that participation in the competition is mandatory. If you have any questions, please contact: kerstin.artner@tuwien.ac.at
